Introduction
Dayn Advisory LLP is looking into creating a new interior decoration arm that specialises in co-living spaces. They are looking to create an identity suitable for the endevour.
Challenge
Creating a corporate identity that identifies well to the concept of co-living space planning and designing.
Solution
A basic branding exercise is in order. I was tasked to design the logo, website and various collaterals for the company.
My role:
- Logo Design
- Namecard Design
At a glance
CO LIV – Co Living Interior Planning and Designing Firm (Defunct)
A step by step look at how the logo was derived: Conceptualisation, research, planning, execution and final outcome.
The Approach
“You Can Find Comfort In Co Living”
Lack of privacy is a main concern for most homeowners who feel reluctant to share their space with others. Co Liv wishes to show that with the right planning and design, a shared space can be just as comfortable as single family home living.
Highlights
Inspirations from The Bees
The logo has taken inspiration from the communal living of the bees sharing a single hive. Also, based on a popular theory on the efficiency of the hexagon shape of the honeycomb (ref: Honeycomb Conjecture).
Additionally, I wanted to incorporate the concept of floorplan into the logo proper, using identifiable elements to present that idea across.
The Work
